We'e got good news for you.

We are able host the Main Matsuri again this year albeit in a slightly different form from two years ago. We want you to have fun, so read on................

In order for the Main Matsuri to take place in 2021, there are a few points to consider that you already know from your everyday life. Here are the essentials: Your general behaviour  allgemeinen Verhaltsweisen  when at the festival and the Admission rules Einlassregeln.

Please note: The information here is subject to change. This page was last updated on 25.07.2021

Admission

Covid "Schnelltest" (Quick test) und vaccination pass.

You can come to the festival if you have a Covid Test Certificate taken on the same day as your visit, or if you have a vaccination certificate/pass. You can get a free "Schnelltest" (Covid quick test) directly at the festival site but allow time for this. Arrive early so as to make the best use of your time at the festival.

If you already have the full two vaccinations - or the Johnson & Johnson vaccination, then bring your Vaccination pass with you. Analogue or digital passes are accepted.

Symptoms and Quarantine

If you are experiencing any symptoms such as : fever, coughing, loss of taste or smell - then for the safety of other visitors please stay at home. You are not allowed to attend the festival if you are under isolation or quarantine.

Contact tracing

When you have entered the festival site you can check in with the Luca-App. Alternatively, we can take down your details on paper.

The Luca app is available in AppStore or Playstation.

General behaviour at Main Matsuri

Everyone must follow the German AHA rules at the festival. They will be posted up for all to see at the festival site.

Distancing

Talking amongst yourselves, with the guests and the exhibitors is of course an integral part of the festival. This should be possible this year. But please keep 1.5 metres apart.

Hygiene advice

To keep the Main Matsuri safe for everybody, the festival site will be regularly disinfected. You can do your bit to prevent any virus spread: Wash or disinfect your hands regularly, especially when you have handled anything.

Masks are compulsory

It is compulsory to wear a FFP2 at the festival. Medical masks are also acceptable.

Eating and drinking

Japanese food and drinks are of course an important part of Main Matsuri. And this year will be no exception. But please take note: You can only eat and drink in the specially reserved areas. Once you have finished, put on your mask again.

Covitest Testzentrum

In the covitest.me test center in Colosseo you can get tested for the corona virus free of charge. Please note the following in order to make the process as quick and easy as possible for you and the staff at the centre:

Please register

at booking.covitest.me/registrierung before visiting the test center

After registering, you can log in and call up your personal QR code.

Before entering the test centre have:

Your QR code (on your smartphone or printed out)

Your ID (passport or identity card)

Entering the test center is only permitted with an FFP2 or medical mask

Please follow the signs, always keep a distance of 1.5m and be sure to follow the instructions of the staff.

You will receive the test result after approx. 20-30 minutes by email on your smartphone. You can then transfer your result to the Luca app. If you also want to transfer the result to the Corona Warning App (CWA), you must expressly inform our staff at the check-in.  Important: We cannot provide paper printouts on the festival days.

Please only queue by appointment or registration (see above). Unfortunately, we have to refuse guests who neither have an appointment nor are registered (QR code). Please leave the test centre immediately after the test and always keep the entrances and exits free.

If the test result does not arrive:

When we are full capacity, it can sometimes take a little longer until you have your result. Before making any queries, please check your spam folder to ensure that your email address has been entered correctly. You can also see your test result in your profile, which you used to register. Please refrain from asking for your result earlier than 45 minutes after the test or waiting for your result in front of the door!

If the result really does not arrive, write us a short email to colosseo@covitest.me with your name, test time and test code and we will take care of your request as soon as possible.

Costs:

The tests are free of charge for all citizens with permanent residence or residence in Germany. The decisive factor is the address when you register. Hotel stays in Germany do not entitle you to take a free test. For guests who are not entitled to free tests, we charge € 24.90 / test.
