Kaori Kawabuchi

Kaori is active worldwide in a diverse career as a singer, sword dancer, sword fighter, motion capture performer, actress, voice actress, choreographer, model, songwriter, director, and action coach.

Her powerful yet graceful Japanese sword dance is especially acclaimed internationally and has earned her the nickname “LADY SAMURAI.”

As a motion actor, she has appeared in numerous well-known productions, including the role of 2B in the RPG "NieR: Automata" and Motoko Kusanagi in the Netflix original animated series "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045."

She is also the vocalist of the rock duo KAO=S, which gained global attention in 2014 through a feature on CNN International, praised for its impressive live performances that combine Japanese instruments with Kaori’s sword dance. Since then, the group has performed in many countries around the world.
