The sword dance performance team IDEAL was formed in 2010 by Kaori Kawabuchi, a sword dancer and motion actor. IDEAL is based in Tokyo and has performed in many countries, including France, Chile, and Taiwan.

Kaori Kawabuchi herself has also performed all over the world as a singer and sword dancer in the band KAO=S. 

In particular, she has visited and performed in Frankfurt, Germany, eight times to date.

LADY SAMURAI'S IDEAL, which will perform at MAIN MATSURI 2022, will feature a sword dance team performance alongside KAO=S directed by Shuji Yamagiri
