In 2014, while still attending a vocational school, Mirai Fukuda was selected from around 5,000 applicants in a vocal audition held by a major music agency. She then began her career as the lead vocalist and central figure of the group THE HOOPERS.
Today, she is also well known for her collaborations with popular music YouTuber Kobasolo, especially through the series "Kobasolo × Mirai." As of spring 2024, the YouTube videos featuring her have surpassed 60 million total views.
At the end of 2023, she participated in the Japanese-Korean singing audition "Trot Girls Japan 2024" - a competition aimed at discovering female vocal talents. Among 54 groups and 57 skilled singers from across the country, she was crowned the first queen, "Trot Venus."
At Main Matsuri, she will perform together with Hiroshi Furukawa (guitar) and Masakazu Tangiku (drums).
