Senyumeji Nishikawa has been teaching Japanese dance and kimono dressing in Frankfurt since 2015, and in Düsseldorf since 2023.
He has performed at the Vatican, in London, Amsterdam, and many other European cities, and has been dedicated to promoting traditional Japanese culture for years. In 2025, he was honored with an award from the Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs for this commitment.
This year marks his seventh consecutive appearance on stage at the Main Matsuri Festival.
